Abstract

This paper explores and problematizes clinical aspects related to the therapist’s pregnancy. Drawing from my own experience, it raises clinical concerns that allow for reflection on the movements this situation generates within the therapeutic dyad—both in the patient’s internal world and intersubjectivity—as well as the changes it brings to the therapeutic setting, particularly regarding the frame, transference, and the fantasies it activates. To this end, I share clinical situations that help deepen theoretical and technical reflection.
