INTERWEAVING GAZES: A SHELTER FOR CHILDHOODS
Abstract
Integrating psychoanalytic contributions on the process of subjectivation, this article reflects on the necessary support for accompanying childhoods from a rightsbased perspective and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary work. It presents
clinical experiences that reflect some characteristics of Maldonado and attempts to generate a position from what can be done when working in situations on the “edges.” It also includes categories of analysis from socio-educational clinical practice and alludes
to the responsibility of being part of a fabric that will have an impact on an open psyche. This is where the possibility of inaugurating new beginnings calls us as professionals and compels us to design possible threads to interweave and shelter every childhood
thoughtfully.
