AN OTHER IN ADOLESCENCE: EXPERIENCES OF A THERAPEUTIC GROUP
Keywords:
adolescence, subjectivity, support, groupAbstract
This article problematizes the discomforts generated in adolescence in the face of the presence-absence of an adult other who supports and confronts. To this end, the experience of a therapeutic group with adolescents is presented and analyzed within a health service of the Uruguayan State Health Services Administration (ASSE) and from the role of a Psychology resident in Health Services (agreement between ASSE and the University of the Republic). The approach highlights how sharing experiences and the joint elaboration of discomfort generate a space of care and multiple support in the adolescent’s subjective development.
