ON CAPITAL, THE OBJECT, AND THE SUBJECT

Abstract

The article carries out a partial study of the subject, articulating concepts of a Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalytic nature, as critical tools that enable the understanding of certain aspects considered central to contemporary capitalism. Beyond the usefulness or clinical relevance of psychoanalysis, which is not discussed here, its critical power should be explored to find explanatory alternatives for the complexity of our current reality.
