It explores relational patterns based on implicit relational knowledge and their impact on affective interactions, investigating concepts such as attachment, mutual recognition, and gender tensions. The article also addresses how gender structures influence emotional regulation and the construction of the couple’s relationship. Finally, it reflects on the need to foster more equitable relationships that promote mutual well-being.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/184 INTERVENCIONES PSICOANALÍTICAS EN EL SISTEMA NACIONAL INTEGRADO DE SALUD 2025-06-27T01:32:40-03:00 Diego Monetti monettidiego@gmail.com
Manuel Laguarda es doctor en Medicina, está especializado en psiquiatría de adultos y en psiquiatría de niños y adolescentes, y diplomado en psicoterapia en servicios de salud. While they are linked to the psychological processes inherent to this stage of life, they also reveal difficulties in the mental processing of experiences and emotions. We highlight the importance of early detection and appropriate therapeutic intervention from the outset. Using a clinical vignette, we reflect on some of the psychodynamic aspects involved and share our experience in a public institution.
2025-06-16T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/176 CLINICAL DERIVATIVES OF THE PSYCHOTHERAPIST’S PREGNANCY 2025-06-27T00:59:21-03:00 Juliana Artola mj.artola90@gmail.com
This paper explores and problematizes clinical aspects related to the therapist’s pregnancy. Drawing from my own experience, it raises clinical concerns that allow for reflection on the movements this situation generates within the therapeutic dyad—both in the patient’s internal world and intersubjectivity—as well as the changes it brings to the therapeutic setting, particularly regarding the frame, transference, and the fantasies it activates. To this end, I share clinical situations that help deepen theoretical and technical reflection.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/177 “SHE DIED, SHE DIED… AT LAST, AT LAST”: THE GRIEF OF AN AUTISTIC GIRL 2025-06-27T01:05:47-03:00 Mariana Vieyto Domínguez mariana.vieyto@gmail.com Daniel Camparo Ávila dcamparo@psico.edu.uy Dinorah Larrosa dlarrosa@psico.edu.uy
This case study presents the therapeutic process of a girl with autism grieving the sudden death of her father, within the context of a university-based individual therapy service. The analysis focuses on significant moments in the process and highlights both the child’s capacity for symbolization and the therapist’s containing role. The intervention, tailored to her specific needs, showed improvements in her behavior and emotional well-being. In many aspects, the grief process resembled that of neurotypical children. The inclusion of the mother in the final session is emphasized as a key moment for fostering mother–daughter communication and enabling the verbal expression of loss.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/178 INTERPRETATION OF TRANSFERENCE IN PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHOTHERAPY 2025-06-27T01:10:19-03:00 Martín Meoqui martinmeoquiramirez@gmail.com María Cecilia Rey Villaamil psic.ceciliarey@gmail.com
This article explores the interpretation of transference through theoretical, clinical, and experiential lenses. We describe its characteristics according to key authors and highlight studies that suggest appropriate ways to implement it, as well as the patient profiles that tend to benefit from it. We also note its decreasing use. The discussion considers the typical weekly session frequency in our context, the value of transference interpretation, and the role of countertransference. We include practical examples from our own clinical experience and emphasize the need for continued exploration of this topic.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/180 TRANSFERENTIAL WELDS: TRAUMATIC EFFECTS ON A VICTIM OF OCULAR TRAUMA 2025-06-27T01:14:21-03:00 Christopher Berrios Morales christopher.berrios.m@gmail.com Eduardo Pérez Carrasco ps.eduardo.perez.c@gmail.com
In October 2019, Chile experienced the largest mobilization in its history, driven by decades of injustice and revealing widespread discontent with the neoliberal capitalist system. The protests were met with violent repression, resulting in human rights violations including torture, sexual abuse, killings, and ocular trauma. This paper aims to understand the traumatic effects of state violence on both individuals and society, focusing on denial and perversion by the government. We analyze the role of the Other in the clinic of trauma, drawing on a clinical vignette and revisiting concepts from Freud, Ferenczi, Winnicott, Davoine, Gaudillière, and Aceituno.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://audepp.org/ojs/index.php/eqo/article/view/181 BETWEEN BARS AND BONDS: DECONSTRUCTING PRISONIZATION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PRACTICES IN CONFINEMENT INSTITUTIONS 2025-06-27T01:21:03-03:00 Federico Caetano Grau federico.caetano@cienciassociales.edu.uy
This article, based on a qualitative autoethnographic study, offers a critical reflection on formal psychological practices in contexts of adolescent incarceration and conflict with criminal law. These practices—exemplified by the routine use of standardized risk‐assessment forms, bureaucratic case reports, and judicial evaluations—operate within a treatment-and-classification logic that objectifies young people by reducing their complexity to diagnostic labels. Drawing on a dialogical epistemology that weaves together psychoanalysis, sociology, and social education, the authors propose an insubordinate psychology grounded in a socio‐educational heuristic, a case‐by‐case approach, and an artisanal, relational practice that recognizes the Other in their singularity as an enigmatic subject.
2025-06-01T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2025
